I hate surprises. I love to scheme and plan, but then the whole time I’m supposed to be keeping something fun a secret, I feel like I’m going to burst at any moment from the excitement. I mean, I just want to tell everyone RIGHT NOW! (On that note, if you’re a member of my family, you should probably close your browser and step away from the computer now, before I ruin it for both of us.)

Over the next couple of days, I’ll be working on a super-secret sewing project for an even more secret weekend event. I’ll be using this ridiculously patterned oilcloth, and I absolutely can’t wait until I finish and can share with everyone! Until then, you’ll just have to use your imagination. (Hint: The project also involves polka dots, cotton flannel, and ribbon.)
