After a couple of weeks of furious hooking, I have finished my very first crochet project. In my earliest days, there was some question as to whether or not I was doing it wrong, but I am fairly certain that I have now successfully figured out how to crochet a flower (or 12). However, I am far less confident in my flower connecting skills. I read the pattern and instructions about 37 times, but I still have no idea how to do it. So, after trying and failing to follow the real directions, I just made something up. I guess time will tell if those stitches will stand the test of riding the NYC subway system.
Doesn’t it look great? I mean, I’m totally going to wear it in public and everything!
It also goes great with Pixel.
I really wish there was a cat equivalent to red eye reduction.
I have say the atomic cat is a good touch. What do you feed him uranium?

Bravo! I think it looks great!
I think that scarf is getting Pixel high. Don't worry, it works that way on me, too. Brav-motherfucking-O! How long did that take you? And also, how long have you been crocheting?
@Ridgely: Hahaha! It was my first real project, so it took a couple of weeks total (in fits and starts). I started crocheting at the end of October.
