I think that bathrooms are the ideal place in a home for an indoor garden, assuming you’re lucky enough to have a southern exposure. My tiny bathroom with no ventilation definitely has enough humidity to sustain a whole colony of air plants/ferns/moss. Too bad it’s a windowless cave that completely fails on the getting-any-light front.

Imagine, if you will, having a vertical herb garden growing alongside your refrigerator, always ready for a quick snip. Awesome, right? Alas, once again my inspiration is thwarted by a distinct lack of sunlight in my kitchen.

We all know that I love air plants. And I do have a lot of them—but not quite this many.

This is decidedly horizontal, but it seems to fit the spirit of the post anyway. I’m also pretty sure it would feel amazing on your feet.
Conclusion: Either I need to spend a fortune installing some grow lights, or I need to move somewhere with way more windows.
