Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

I’m thankful that Jeremy and I get to spend almost a whole week in Michigan with my family. (Who, for the record, are awesome and fun.) Since I actually managed to find a tofurkey in the rural Midwest, I’m all set to eat that, plus way too many helpings of sweet corn, mashed potatoes, green beans, and butternut squash. If I get around to it, I may also throw together a giant batch of my family-famous chocolate chip cookies before we head to my Aunt Kris’ house for dinner.

On top of stuffing myself silly, I’m definitely looking forward to our usual post-dinner games of Apples to Apples and Dominoes. My prediction: My cousin Heidi is going to mop the floor with all of us!
