After a long and lovely holiday trip to Mexico—and two Mexico-related stomach bugs—we’re back in Brooklyn and I’m finally eating real food (as opposed to Gatorade and soda crackers). After a rocky start to the morning, Jeremy, my wonderful husband, made one of my favorite dinners: mashed potatoes, sweet corn, Gardein cutlets, mixed vegetables (BROCCOLI!!), and dinner rolls. I didn’t clean my plate, but I came reasonably close, and my belly is still feeling fine.
I’m pretty sure that, thanks to my finicky stomach, I’m the only person I know who regularly returns from vacation skinnier than when I left. I sincerely don’t recommend it!
