Today, I finally tried out the sketch pens that I got for my Silhouette SD. I used them to make tags for a couple of custom pieces that I’ll be sending out this week, and I was really pleased with the results. I absolutely loved the look of ball point pen on paper instead of inkjet printing. Unfortunately, the glue I used to put the tags together made the pen bleed in a few places. Note for future projects: water-based ink!
Here’s what the design (and the finished product) looked like before the glue debacle. I probably should have listened to my husband and used spray mount, but the idea of spraying glue particles into the air really creeps me out. (My lungs, I need them.) Maybe a glue stick would do the trick?
