I’m back in Brooklyn, and just woke up from a much-needed nap to find these furry little monsters curled up behind my knees. Then, as though cat snuggles weren’t already enough, Jeremy brought me a homemade chocolate chip cookie, still warm from the oven. Yes, it’s good to be home.
I can’t wait to get back to my normal crafting schedule this week—I’ve missed my making!
Why does Simon wear the "cone of shame"?
Part of his belly was shaved at the vet. He got a little razor burn and wouldn't stop licking the spot, so he has to wear the cone until it finishes healing. He's definitely not pleased!
LOL, yah, i know about all the "does NOT like" bit. Our kitty Kassie (who looks EXACTLY like Frankie) had to wear one a few months ago for a week when we had her fixed. She threw herself all over the place (visual example of "to flail") for about 20 minutes trying to get it off. Then she did find a way to break part of it (duct tape is AWESOME).
Then about 2 weeks later we had our dog fixed (Alotta Dog) & she had to wear the "cone of shame". I sent her outside to pee & when she returned the cone was a 6 inch piece of plastic hanging from the gauze connecting it to her neck. I still don't know how she did it.
