Things I Made from the Internet: Crocheted Scissor Grip Covers

Things I Made from the Internet: Crocheted Scissor Grip Covers | Red-Handled Scissors

Yesterday, inspired by this tutorial from Meredith at One Sheepish Girl, I took an afternoon crafting break to crochet some grip covers onto two of my favorite pairs of scissors.

Pretty cute, right? It took me about 10 minutes to do both pairs, and they definitely add a nice pop of color to my studio’s scissors pegboard.

Here’s what I used:

Yarn:
Like those adorable tiny skeins in the background of my photo? I used Lion Brand Yarn’s Bonbons for my grips. The mini skeins were the perfect size for such a small project.

Hook:
Size F crochet hook (3.75mm) from the Boye Artisan Crochet Master Plus Crochet Hook Set. (I reviewed the full set here.)
