Sunday Snapshot
Yesterday morning, I heard a loud rustling and falling noise coming from the studio. Upon further investigation, this is what I found sitting on the floor in front of my worktable. Now, I could be wrong, but that certainly looks like the face of a guilty cat to me..
I was working on the layout for my new fabric scrap hexie quilt when Pixel cat, seeing what I was up to, grabbed a sparkle ball and ran into the living room to join the fun. (Because, you know, helping!) Sigh. It’s a good thing he’s adorable.
This afternoon, my pal Susan of West Coast Crafty and I headed uptown to the American Folk Art Museum to check out the wonderful alt_quilts exhibition. (We loved it—I’ll tell you more about what we saw in the coming week.) Of course, like any good museum visitors, we couldn’t resist popping into the gift shop …
