Yesterday, we kicked off the long weekend by starting our fall apartment purge. As we reorganized the bookshelf before taking our first load to the Salvation Army, Pixel spotted his shelf opportunity and took it. Shockingly, he completely ignored our careful by-category organization, and filed himself under “craft.”
I made Jeremy a hand-stitched pocket square today to go with his tux for the Emmys. Simon helped.
Simon and Pixel spent the weekend hanging out just where they should be: on their window seat, next to the catnip plants growing in our fire escape garden. Today was definitely a red letter day for them. They got a free mousie toy from the local pet store, AND we brought home two new scratch …
The lettuce seems to have caught Simon’s eye. No word yet as to who won the staring contest.
