I’d like to introduce you to my new favorite thing to make: the giant hexie flower lap quilt! (Also affectionately known as the big-ass hexie quilt.)
Yesterday morning, I heard a loud rustling and falling noise coming from the studio. Upon further investigation, this is what I found sitting on the floor in front of my worktable. Now, I could be wrong, but that certainly looks like the face of a guilty cat to me..
Turns out, much like knitting and crochet, hexies make for excellent bar crafting. Once again, English paper piecing FTW!
This week, I snatched up all the spare moments I could, then I spent them making hexagons. There are quilt blocks in progress, my friends!
